The 2019 Ed’s Red is an enticing, flavorful and full-bodied wine in the Ed’s Red tradition. Composed of 17% Malbec, 33% Merlot and 50% Zinfandel, all from the Sonoma Valley, it has aromas of dark cherry, plums, licorice, vanilla, almond paste and candied fruit. Smooth on the palate with fruit, spice and chocolate elements; a mouthwatering finish.
Note: this is the second Ed’s Red from the 2019 vintage. The previous iteration was a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Zinfandel from the Napa, Shenandoah, and Sonoma Valleys. The current version tastes even better!
