2013 Proximus Pinot Noir
An intensely flavored, rich and powerful Pinot Noir in the Proximus tradition, the wine has a nose of plums, earth and baking spices. Full in body, the wine’s earthy, spicy qualities make it a terrific match for a wide variety of foods.
“Proximus” is Adastra's designation for our line of ultrareserve wines. Select small lots of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Merlot may be classified “Proximus,” Latin for “closer” … to the stars. All Adastra wines are lovingly grown on our estate; Proximus wines are the best of our best.
Single vineyard certified organic since 2005 by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). 100% Pinot Noir: Pommard, Dijon 115 (2 lots), Dijon 777, DRC; Yield: 1.7, 1.0, 1.66, 1.5 and 2.44 tons per acre, respectively.
